Under Armour

Under Armour is a performance apparel clothing brand whose headquarters is located in downtown Baltimore, Maryland.  Under Armour pioneered the trend of form-fitting, moisture-wicking performance apparel. 

Core products of UA's brand were developed by CEO Kevin Plank, who is a former University of Maryland football player and Special Teams Captain. Plank saw the need for an undergarment that helped to keep players cool and dry, and started marketing his product from a very grassroots approach.

Under Armour today makes products for all major sports, as well as products for outdoor enthusiast and even a tactical line of products.  The brand has also begun marketing football cleats and other sporting apparel and accessories.
